Description	Apparel Export Council of Egypt in cooperation with Egypt Textiles& Home Textiles Export Council and European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD); organized today Tuesday 30 May 2023 an introductory webinar on the "Green Economy Financing Program" presented by the EBRD with the support of the European Union and the Green Climate Fund. The EBRD and GEFF representatives presented the programs offered by the European Bank to support Egyptian apparel and textiles factories in the transition towards a green economy through providing financing loans, financial grants, consultations and technical support to textiles factories in several areas, for example: • Technologies for energy efficiency and renewable energy. • Mechanisms to improve the use of resources. • Circular economy projects. • Improving water use efficiency and reuse. • Sustainable land management, as well as water desalination.
