AECE The Apparel Export Council of Egypt
As part of its efforts to support Egyptian exports and empower local manufacturers to access international markets, the Apparel Export Council of Egypt (AECE), in cooperation with the Egyptian Commercial Service and the Commercial Office in Montreal, Canada, organized a series of important B2B meetings between several Egyptian sock manufacturing companies and one of the leading global Chinese sock suppliers.
The Chinese company has an outstanding track record as an approved supplier to major retail chains and international brands in the United States and Canada. It is currently seeking to diversify its production bases outside of China, and has shown serious interest in expanding its operations in Egypt, attracted by the country’s strategic geographic location, availability of skilled labor, and robust industrial infrastructure.
The meetings were inaugurated by Mrs. Sherin Hosni, AECE Executive Director, who emphasized the importance of such engagements in fostering cooperation between Egyptian manufacturers and international investors, while opening new export channels for locally made products. She also highlighted the council’s commitment to creating interactive platforms that enable Egyptian producers to build successful partnerships that enhance the competitiveness of the national industry and boost export volumes.
