AECE The Apparel Export Council of Egypt
Under GTEX MENATEX Egypt; AECE participated in the series of workshops on Resource Efficiency and Circular Production strategies as part of the sustainability component OF GTEX MENATEX and it divided into 3 training workshops.
The first training workshop was on 16 March, 2021. It covered the management of energy for industrial companies specialized in garments manufacturing. It shed light on energy management system, measurements and share case studies on energy efficiency.
The second training workshop was on 23 March, 2021. It covered water & waste management and presented ways to efficiently manage the resources within the company.
The third training workshop was on 27 April, 2021. It presented the preliminary results of the coaching activity will be presented including successful implementation of resource efficiency measures with companies participating in the first phase. Also, RECP measures on energy, water and solid waste management as well as No/ Low-Cost Options of lean manufacturing methods linked with RECP. Beside the financial schemes and programs available to finance the development of textile and clothing factories.
