AECE The Apparel Export Council of Egypt
The Apparel Export Council of Egypt, in cooperation with Train Egypt, organized a training program entitled: “Supply Chain Management in the Apparel Sector”, The training discussed the journey of the product from raw materials to the final consumer, highlighting major challenges such as demand fluctuations, long lead times, and geopolitical risks.
Participants explored the comparison between fast fashion and traditional production and their implications, the fundamentals of global supplier selection, methods of demand forecasting to reduce losses or stockouts, as well as an overview of the latest technological tools in supply chains.
The high level of engagement from participants reflected the critical importance of supply chain management as a cornerstone for enhancing competitiveness and boosting Egyptian exports, especially amidst global challenges such as rising transportation costs, raw material price volatility, and sustainability requirements.
At the end of the training, certificates of attendance were awarded to participants in recognition of their active involvement and readiness to apply what they learned to support business continuity and achieve sustainable growth.
