The company's activity was started at 1938 with a single company.

The company was established by Hajj Abd-El-Aziz Nounou , who is considered one of the pioneers of the " trico " industry in Egypt.

By year 1959 the company's activity has turned to be a big industrial company managed by Hajj Mohamed Abd-El-Aziz Nounou , and the company's activity become in the industry of the textile , and clothes made of cotton , wool , and tricko.

Hajj Abd-El-Aziz Nounouis the first one entered the (Tull) industry in Egypt.

Nountex company with its three factories resident in " Abbaseyah , Sahel Road El Farag , and the Tenth of October " has become one of the biggest companies specialized in the (Trico) industry with its three kinds " circular , flat , and wrap knitting " in addition to inducting all kinds of needle looms and brai-ding products.
